Cape Perpetua, Oregon After spending a lovely morning on
the beach discovering mussels, starfish & numerous crabs with the kids we headed up into the
mountains to get some scenic eye candy. This is the lookout station (from WW2 I believe, where they kept a look out for enemy shipping & aircraft). You can see US101 snaking it's way round
the coast & the blue Pacific. Quite stunning, although keeping
the kids from nose diving over the walls & down the cliff meant it wasn't quite as relaxing as it might have been.
